Contract support provides a high level of cover. Our contracts guarantee that mac:daddy will have an engineer on site within a specified time frame. Our service level agreements can cater for 8-hour and 4-hour response times. All our business support contract customers benefit from our help desk service and automatic support ticket facilities.

Bespoke solutions

We tailor individual annual contracts to support the differing needs of our business customers. We currently support businesses who operate in widely varying areas, some of which include design, reprographics and print, audio / video production, advertising research and sales, social media and others.

Reassuring

Contract support is payable in advance with no hourly fees, so when something does go wrong, mac:daddy will be there to resolve the issue — without you needing to keep one eye on the clock.

As a general guideline, our support contract prices are worked out using the number of machines to be covered as a basis.

Ad-hoc prices

Basic rate: £85 + VAT per hour (minimum 1 hour)

    Callout charges:
  1. £35 + VAT call-out charge (within London transport zones 1 and 2)
  2. £45 + VAT call-out charge (within London transport zones 3 and 4)
  3. £55 + VAT call-out charge (within London transport zones 5 and 6)
  4. £65 + VAT call-out charge (outside London transport zone 6)
  5. £ Please call for prices call-out charge (outside the M25 )
  6. £35 + VAT call-out-charge (Southend, Westcliff, Leigh)

Please note: any cancellation of bookings must be received at least 24 hours prior to the booking day or a cancellation fee covering the callout charge + vat will be charged.

 

As a multi-media production house, we use Apple Macs from number-crunching to letter writing; preparing spread-sheets to editing and producing CDs; marketing design to simply sending e-mails. They are not a way of life, they are our life.

When a machine went down recently we took it to an Apple Store Genius Bar where it was probed and tested for over an hour – the remedy offered was to wipe the hard disk and to start all over again. Not helpful…

After one call to mac:daddy (recommended by the Apple Store) an engineer appeared at the allocated time, pressed a few buttons – the correct few buttons – and the computer was up and running within 35 minutes with no loss of data. Helpful…
