How It Works

Our Freelancer contracts work like this:

1. You are assigned a member of our support staff.
2. An initial visit to your workplace is scheduled where we gather details of your workflow, your email settings plus any other details that we will need to know in order to provide you with the support you need. We will also make any changes to your network in order to enable secure remote troubleshooting.
3. We enable the Apple Remote Desktop or Screen Sharing (Leopard-only) software that comes with every Mac which means that, once set up, help is always at hand!
4. Included in every Freelancer contract is a free health check, at a point through the year of your chosing, where we will optimise your system software and hard drive, iron out any permission problems or any other glitches that may have been interrupting or slowing down your work flow.
5. You receive site visits, should they be needed, at a 10% discounted price for the duration of your annual contract.
6. In the event of any hardware issues that require repair you will receive priority booking as a Mac-Daddy IT Freelancer.

Mac-Daddy IT "pay-as-you-go" callout prices:

Basic rate: £55 + vat per hour (minimum 1 hour)

    Callout charges:
  1. £35 + vat call-out charge (within London transport zones 1 and 2)
  2. £45 + vat call-out charge (within London transport zones 3 and 4)
  3. £50 + vat call-out charge (within London transport zones 5 and 6)
  4. £65 + vat call-out charge (outside London transport zone 6)

Please note: any cancellation of bookings must be received at least 24 hours prior to the booking day or a cancellation fee of £35 + vat will be charged.
